Edward Cacciapaglia, CPA
Principal
Edward Cacciapaglia, CPA contributes skills and substantial experience in the areas of financial management, government contract accounting and management, income tax preparation and planning, accounting and consulting. He is a member of the Virginia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. He received his BS in accounting from Virginia Tech in 1976 and has been licensed as CPA in the state of Virginia since 1983.
Edward operated as a sole practioner from 1984 to 1991, prior to merging into the current firm in 1991. He has been preparing income tax returns and financial statements since 1977. Prior to entering public accounting full time, Edward served as corporate controller for a subsidiary of a Fortune 500 company in the health care field for several years. In this capacity, he obtained valuable experience with Medicare 3rd party reimbursement, international banking, corporate budgeting and health care consulting.
Edward has hands-on experience in many areas of taxation, including tax planning for tax-deferred exchanges, retirement planning, real estate sales and acquisitions, estates, taxation of U.S. citizens overseas and of other foreign source income, and many other areas. He has represented clients in matters before the IRS as well as serving as an expert witness in civil and divorce court cases.
Dianne MastBrook, CPA
Principal
Dianne MastBrook is a CPA licensed in the state of Virginia and has been practicing public accounting since 1988. Prior to obtaining her BS degree from George Mason University in 1987, she worked in various small business accounting positions. These experiences helped to spark her interest in small business issues and operations.
From 1987 to 1991, Dianne operated a sole proprietorship. In 1991 she merged her practice with that of Edward Cacciapaglia to form Cacciapaglia & MastBrook, PC. She provides the firm with valuable experience in accounting systems, business consulting and management, compilation and review, business and personal taxation, and business and personal financial planning and budgeting. Dianne’s primary area of practice and interest is working with small businesses and their owners. She is a member in good standing of the American Institute of CPAs, and the Virginia Society of CPAs.
Robert Quartuccio, CPA
Senior Tax Consultant
Robert has been associated with C&M on a part-time basis since 1992. He has extensive experience in taxes and accounting. Bob is a member of the Virginia and American Society of CPAs.
Richard Eimas
Enrolled Agent
Richard Eimas joined C&M in January 2007 with over 29 years of experience. He is an Enrolled Agent and has a broad range of experience preparing a variety of personal and business tax returns as well as a wealth of knowledge. He was previously Director of the H&R Block Premium office in McLean and has taught a wide spectrum of courses in the H&R Block continuing education program. He attended the University of Colorado were he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree and later received a Master of Arts from the University of Denver and continued on to become a published author. He served on active duty with the US Navy, continued his affiliation with the Naval Reserve and retired after 32 years of service. Currently he is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the National Association of Tax Professionals.
Vandana Chhillar
Accountant Vandana Chhillar joined the team in February 2005 as temporary help during tax season. Since then she has become a valuable member of our team. She recently completed her Associates Degree in Business Administration from NOVA. Vandana is pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at George Mason University with the ultimate goal of becoming a CPA. She is currently working as a junior staff accountant and helps with administrative duties when necessary. Debra Prantl Office Manager
Debra returned to C&M in 2001 after relocating back to the Northern Virginia area. Debra’s background includes having earned a B.S. in Nursing and worked in the field for 15 years.
Anne Dundee
Director of First Impressions
Anne Dundee joined the team in July of 2007. Her educational background is in business, and her work experience includes office administration and support.
